Black Dog Manufacturing offers a sensible hose kit to replace the high failure "Y" hose on the power steering low side. Requires that the standard spring and shock conversion has been done.

All XJ6 Jaguars from 1990-1992 came with "hydraulic rear suspension". This system is prone to chronic leaks and failures and is best replaced with a standard coil spring and shock conversion kit (also offered by Black Dog as kit# KG9309.KIT shock conversion + JLM657 coil springs). Once the standard spring replacement kit is installed, there is no need for a leaking "Y" pipe. Black Dog supplies all the parts to safely remove and block off the hydraulic pump, replace the "Y" pipe and seal the hydraulic fluid reservoir.
