The V12 oil filter is no longer available from the manufacturer. There are some aftermarket filters that just don't perform. Black Dog Manufactured has decided to manufacture its own V12 oil filter to ensure a higher quality that meet OE specifications.

This is a cartridge oil filter. This uses a filtration element made up of layers of media to arrest various types of suspended contaminants.
